Although the railroad town of Tucumcari and the coal mining town of Dawson were over 130 miles apart, together they became important partners connected by rail for nearly 50 years.
In this exhibit, take a walk through the history of Dawson, its incredible story and its people. Experience the personal stories, the good times and the heartache, and the many connections with Tucumcari all along the way.
